Frequently asked questions

Last updated: 2026-03-12

Is this a ready-made building design?

No. HALA is an early-stage planning and decision-support tool. It helps assess what may be feasible on a given plot, compare hall scenarios and estimate the likely scale of the investment before full architectural design begins.

Does the system confirm whether construction is actually possible on the plot?

Not in a formal legal sense. The system supports early assessment by helping identify key constraints, assumptions and risks, but the final feasibility of construction always depends on planning regulations, local conditions and detailed design work.

What the system helps clarify

HALA supports the early stage of industrial planning by helping structure the key assumptions of the investment. Instead of replacing design, it helps investors and project teams understand site limitations, compare hall options and define the logic of the next steps.

Who is this service for?

It is intended for investors, landowners, developers and companies planning a warehouse, production building, cold storage facility or other industrial hall. It is also useful for teams that want to understand the logic, scale and next steps of an investment before entering the full design process.

What information is required to receive a preliminary analysis?

Usually only basic information is needed: plot location, approximate building size, building type and selected functional assumptions such as access, loading, office share or number of employees. At this stage, the goal is to define the direction of the investment, not to complete full technical documentation.

Will I receive a construction cost estimate?

Yes, but only in an indicative form. The system helps define an early budget range based on the assumptions provided, which can support decision-making before detailed design and pricing are prepared.

Can I compare different hall variants?

Yes. One of the main purposes of the system is to compare different development scenarios at an early stage. This makes it easier to evaluate which option best fits the plot, function and intended investment logic.

Does the analysis include site layout, access and parking?

Yes, these issues can be included at the early planning stage. Access logic, circulation, basic site arrangement and selected parking assumptions are important elements of understanding whether a hall concept is spatially workable.

Can I use the service if I have not yet purchased the plot?

Yes. The system can also be useful at the pre-acquisition stage, when you want to assess whether a site is worth considering further. It helps organize key questions before you commit to the investment.

Is this service only for warehouses?

No. The system can also support planning for production halls, cold storage facilities and other industrial or logistics-related buildings. The core value lies in comparing scenarios and understanding the investment potential of the site.

In which countries is the system currently available?

At present, the system is primarily developed with Poland and Germany in mind. The exact scope of analysis may depend on the local data, planning context and stage of adaptation for a given market.

Can designers, hall suppliers or contractors also use this system?

Yes. Although the service is aimed mainly at investors and landowners, it can also support architects, consultants, hall suppliers and other project partners who need a structured starting point for discussions about the investment.

Is the system oriented toward sustainable solutions?

Yes. Sustainability is treated as part of the investment logic rather than an add-on. Depending on the case, this may include energy efficiency, water management, building lifespan, adaptability and other early-stage design considerations.

Why do you emphasize local collaboration?

Because industrial projects depend strongly on local conditions, regulations and implementation realities. Working with local partners helps improve accuracy, reduce risk and adapt the investment process to the actual context of the site.

What will I receive after submitting the form?

You will receive an initial summary of the assumptions and a preliminary view of the investment scenario. Depending on the case, this may include a layout review, site logic, basic feasibility comments and an indicative cost range.

Does this replace an architect or engineering design?

No. The system does not replace architectural or engineering work. It is meant to support earlier decision-making and help define a more informed starting point for the design process.

How long does a preliminary analysis take?

It depends on the completeness of the input data and the complexity of the project. Simpler cases can be reviewed relatively quickly, while more demanding sites or programs may require a broader assessment.

Is the result a formal planning opinion or legal guarantee?

No. The result is an early planning support output, not a formal administrative decision or legal opinion. Its role is to help structure the investment decision before the full formal process begins.

Can HALA support the project after the initial analysis?

Yes. The preliminary analysis can become the starting point for further architectural work, concept development and preparation of the investment process, depending on the investor's needs.

What is the difference between this and a full architectural design?

The preliminary analysis helps define the investment logic, compare scenarios and assess constraints at an early stage. Full architectural design is a later and more detailed stage involving technical coordination, formal development and project documentation.

Does HALA save the selected plot?

Yes. If you use the configurator, the system may save the selected plot, its location, geometry, area and building parameters chosen in the configuration. This is needed to run the analysis, generate the result, remember the configuration and improve the tool.

Is the exact plot location shared with Google Analytics or advertising tools?

No. We do not send the full plot geometry, exact coordinates or plot number to Google Analytics 4 or other external analytics tools. External analytics tools may collect basic technical and statistical data, such as service events, device information, traffic source and general user activity.

Does HALA use the plot location to identify the user?

No. We do not use the exact plot location to determine the user identity if the user does not provide contact details. The plot is primarily an analysis object: the place for which the system checks a possible development variant, building parameters and indicative cost.

What happens if I provide an e-mail address or phone number?

If you provide an e-mail address, phone number, request contact or move to a paid analysis, your contact details may be linked with the saved configuration. This means we may connect your contact with the selected plot, building parameters, calculation result and history of that specific configuration. We do this to send a report, answer an inquiry or prepare further analysis.

Does HALA analyze user intent?

Yes. The system may analyze how the configurator is used, for example whether a user checks a plot, changes building parameters, generates a price or proceeds to save a report. This helps us improve the tool and better understand which investment scenarios are checked most often. We do not use this analysis to automatically refuse service or individually change the price for a specific user.

How long is configuration data stored?

Configuration data may be stored for the time needed to handle the analysis, improve the tool and contact the user if needed. Configurations without contact details may be deleted or aggregated after some time. Configurations linked with an inquiry, report or paid service may be stored longer, in line with the purpose of handling the inquiry, providing the service and meeting accounting obligations.
